I’m sure we are all familiar with the classic games we play with our dog like fetch or tug of war! While these are fun and can build a bond between you are your dog, do they mentally challenge your dog and help you communicate more easily?
Yes, these games promote physical health for your best friend but they are seriously lacking in mental activity and all dogs should be getting the right balance of both to keep their mind and body healthy.
I am always looking for something new that actually works and does not just re-invent the wheel for the sake of it! Brain Training for dogs may just be that new technic all dog lovers have been looking for!
Brain Training for Dogs by Adrienne Farricelli is an e-book containing games and puzzles for you and your dog to play and work on together. It also comes with some excellent video examples for each game, so it’s easy to see exactly how they all work.
Just like this one…
One of my favourite things about Brain Training for Dogs is the use of force-free training, as the name suggests this training focuses on your dog's mental training rather than using coercion or in my opinion the worst method of hurting your dog into submission. I’m guessing that if you have got this far you agree and are looking for the right method for you and your dog, which I believe you have found in brain training for dogs, so let me tell you why.
If you are anything like me, you see your dogs as a member of the family. Using punishment because they can’t understand what you are saying is just not an option for me, I do not want to hurt a member of my family to get them to submit. No, I would much rather communicate with my dog and be able to show them only love as I do with all the other members of my family (most of the time). Using force-free training and positive reinforcement increases your dog’s intelligence, gives them a chance to grow and easily communicate with all members of the family without the cruelty of other methods.
A little about the author of this program, Adrienne Farricelli. Adrienne has a professional background working with dogs and she is a Certified Dog Trainer (Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA®) who has taught obedience and canine musical freestyle classes in Missouri. Adrienne uses scientifically proven positive reinforcement and reward-based techniques.
I’m very excited to start this training myself when my new pup arrives, and I will continue to update my progress and my personal experience both personally and my family’s experience with the training as this is the first puppy we have ever had in our family.
For now, let’s take look at what is included in the training and if you read to the end boring as it is maybe I will have a wee freebie for you!
Brain Training for Dogs is going to teach your dog to communicate and most importantly improve their quality of life. No longer will your poor pup fear you to achieve good behaviour and their confidence level will also increase.
The main course is going to teach you the fundamentals of dog training while addressing common problems that dogs have, and how to overcome them. Problems including whining, barking, digging, chewing, jumping and even separation anxiety.
Brain training for dogs follows a similar structure to schools
Each individual level will then contain different lessons that you need to take your dog from zero obedience all the way to the best-behaved pup you know!
You don’t have to follow the levels in order if you don’t want to. You can start anywhere you want to depend on how obedient your pup is already.
Brain Training for Dogs only requires a few supplies and tools that you can likely find in your home!
The first thing you’ll learn is that in a reward-based training system, not all food is created equal! Kibble is one thing, but yummy, cooked chicken is another. There is also a difference between small, quick-chew, and larger treats. Both kinds are important, and Adrienne shows you which to use and when.
Another tool you may consider buying is a clicker, this is not essential Adrienne suggests using verbal markers, but I personally like to use both as it's easier to start off with a clicker if you have small children and later introduce verbal markers such a sit.
A treat bag is a handy tool to invest in as well as the stopwatch on your cell phone.
I really liked the format of Brain Training For Dogs the course is laid out in a way that allows for games/skills to build on each other. Each module has an introduction page that contains links for each lesson. This organized format makes it easy to pick up where you left off and easily move between pages. Each lesson includes a list of what items you’ll need at the top of the page which is extremely useful. The font is large and there are a lot of pictures with diagrams and text bubbles for a better understanding and the top tips are in a different colour making them easy to see. At the end of the course a full, printable glossary is provided.
After signing up on the official website, you’ll receive a PDF for the main book as well as the valuable bonus book and The Free 21 Dog Games. You get instant access to the member area, where you can find High-Quality HD videos.
Highly Advanced Lessons you can instantly download. This course will teach your dog valuable skills and turn them into a genius.
As a bonus, with this e-book, you also receive Behaviour Training for Dogs, which contains advice for combating common dog behavioural problems such as whining, digging, barking, and chewing.
As with the Brain Training e-book, this is also very well written, and it is full of useful tips along with picture examples.
This training program is yours for a one-off payment of $47, which I thought was a total bargain when I received it! Considering how powerful this kind of training is and how much information Adrienne provides.
But Adrienne’s team has mentioned that they might start charging monthly. So I definitely recommend getting it before that happens, I have and I'm still waiting for our puppy to be born.
My top highlights from this training include the following
1. As I Said Earlier, This Training is Force-Free Training and only uses positive reinforcements no cruelty.
2. The Author of This Training has 10 years of experience and is a professional dog trainer. Adrienne has trained both old and young dogs.
3. It's extremely easy to learn for people of all ages.
4. Adrienne Farricelli has provided a ton of useful information.
5. They offer a Money Back Guarantee so Unsatisfied Customers can get Their Money Back.
So thank you for reading till the end and as promised here is your freebie click here
